Jill St. John (born Jill Arlyn Oppenheim; August 19, 1940) is an American actress. She is best known for her roles in films such as Diamonds Are Forever, in which she played James Bond girl Tiffany Case, as well as for her television work.
Early in her career, St. John was a child actress and began appearing in television shows and films in the late 1950s. Her notable early film appearances include The Lost World (1960) and Honeymoon Hotel (1964). She steadily built a career through the 1960s, starring in a variety of genres, including comedies, dramas, and action films.
Her role as Tiffany Case in the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever, opposite Sean Connery, brought her international recognition and cemented her status as a prominent actress. This role remains one of her most iconic and recognizable performances.
